When you are cooking for one or two, there are many things you can do to cut costs and make overall meal preparation a breeze.

Consider the idea of putting together one dish meals. You will soon discover that they can really be a time saver!

You can easily combine different food groups to make up the yummy dish, of your choice. Turkey and wild rice casserole, baked spaghetti with meatballs and hearty shepards pie are three examples of this type of recipe.

If you discover that you have made too much, all of these dishes freeze well. Remember to freeze them in single-sized portions.
